This Safari will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for sculptured landscape with rolling grassy hills and its idyllic Crater Lake shores with a variety of different species of mammals and birds and the home of Tree climbing Lions. In the extreme west, Queen Elizabeth National Park – the world’s most bio diversity wildlife sanctuary featuring Tree climbing Lions, Leopards, Chimpanzees, Hippos, African Elephants and Cape Buffaloes not forgetting the beautiful launch cruise along Kazinga channel will make your safari memorable!

Itinerary

Day 1: Leave Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park-Evening Game drive

On this day, you will be met by our company driver guide from your point of pick up and depart for Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have lunch en route or inside the park depending on time. Enter the park for an evening game drive where you will search for Lions which are super predators in the area, African Elephants, Topics, and many tropical birds. Diner and overnight at Irungu Forest Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Whole day in Queen Elizabeth National Park-Game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.

Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including Buffalos, elephants, Lions and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will partake in a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen along including the rare shoe bill. Diner and overnight at Irungu Forest safari Lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking transfer back to Kampala

Head to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. later embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala with lunch en route, to be dropped at your point of pick up.
